TOURNAMENT INFORMATION SHEET AND ENTRY BLANK

 

FORMAT:       Play is 36 holes of stroke play at gross and net in flights.  A player from any flight may win the championship. Players tied for the championship title or gross flight winner must be available to playoff or lose any claim to that position.

DINNER:        NO HOST COCKTAILS 5:30-7pm, DINNER 7pm, AWARDS presentation and door prizes following dinner.

RULES:          The Rules of Golf as governed by the USGA shall be in effect and the Local Rules as provided by the committee.  If either round cannot be completed because of inclement weather, PMGA tournament policy applies.

                        The 14-minute rule is in effect.  Each group must finish nine holes within 14 minutes of the group ahead.  Penalty:  one stroke per player for each nine in which a violation occurs.  The marker must time stamp the scorecard after all players have teed off at the beginning of the round and after all players have completed each nine.  The 14-minute rule is not applied to groups who complete nine holes in 2:10 or less.  A delay due to a lost ball on holes 8, 9, 17, or 18 must be reported to the committee upon completion of the round.

SCORING:     The marker shall record the competitor’s gross score on each hole and sign the scorecard.    The competitor is responsible for checking and signing the scorecard before turning it into the committee.
