Welcome to the Official Website of the Papago Men's Golf Association in Phoenix, Arizona.  The PMGA now has a new mailing address.  Take note that our new address is PMGA, P.O. Box 64261, Phoenix AZ  85082-4261.  

The next event is an Individual Net & Gross being played at ASU Karsten Golf Course on July 19.  This is a change from our published schedule.  We've had many requests to play elsewhere this summer and this deal with ASU is hard to beat.  The tournament entry is free for current PMGA members, with a $32 green fee that includes lunch!  What a deal!

PAPAGO SENIOR SERIES RESUMES:  After having to cancel the May Senior Series event due to lack of participation, the opportunity to play resumes on July 12 & 13 with the Metropolitan Senior Amateur being played at Maryvale and Aguila.  Entry form for this event can be obtained on the Tournaments page.

Results from the Team Championship played at Maryvale Golf Course on June 7 & 8 can be seen on the Results page.  Entries for the Los Caballeros outing and July Individual events are available on this web site behind the Tournaments button.

AGA renovation of Papago course underway

Thursday April 3 they were draining the lakes.  Friday April 4 they put a shovel in the ground.  Monday April 7 the trees have started falling.  May and June saw many trees removed, lakes drained and reshaped, select tees and greens modified and even moved.  The pipe is in the ground and the water should be flowing soon.  What will November bring?  For a progress report, check out this article from the AGA web site.

Applications for 2008 PMGA Membership are available in the pro shop and through the link on this site.  Entry into the PMGA is $85 for the year if paid by July 1, 2008.  The course is closed for a portion of 2008 and the City has scheduled dates at other City courses for us.  Please refer to the schedule published for 2008 to see what we're working on.
